Hape

Hape began in 1986,when Peter Handstein founded Hape Kindergarten Supply with his sister in Germany. Following his passion and dream, Peter spent thirty years growing Hape into a worldwide toy brand from a local toy shop.

Peter aspires to create a better world with toys, and his overarching philosophy "Love Play, Learn“ has been conveyed through Hape's wonderful toy creations. Children are our future. Our main value is serving children, and our mission is to help them to grow and learn happily. The children's smile is Hape's ultimate force, keeping us running with determination.

Hape not only makes outstanding toys, it also builds schools. Over the years, they have built several schools globally and continue to run an academy which offers a better education for children. Hape is fulfilling their commitment to society by providing great toys and caring for their customers and employees.
