Bioplastic Play Range
Providing sustainable choices in play ranges is extremely important to us. The bioplastic in Plasto’s I AM GREEN toy range is produced from sugar cane that is 100% renewable. This contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and carbon footprint because the sugar cane binds more carbon dioxide when growing than is emitted when producing the plastic raw material from it (-2,78 CO2 eq/kg). The bioplastic used in the I AM GREEN range is more environmentally friendly to manufacture than traditional plastic made of oil and represents 98% of the product. Chemically I AM GREEN bioplastic is polyethylene. It is 100% recyclable. It can be disposed of in existing recycling schemes for traditional PE.
