Soft Foam Building Block Set of 12
Made for soft foam play, children can stack, build and create with these superb components in complete safety. Pieces are large (up to 500mm) and have been designed to fit together to make interesting architectural shapes. Children (even toddlers) will be able to lift and place pieces on top of each other to create impressive buildings and monoliths. Working as a team or in pairs, will encourage cooperation and communication towards a common agreed goal. There are 12 pieces in the set (in 8 different designs).
They are neutrally coloured to resemble traditional sandstone with darker shaded edges. Manoeuvring and handling the shapes will encourage a greater understanding of the mathematical names of them – cylinder, arch, triangle, column, rectangle and so on. A superb set for use by a whole class, or by individuals. Covered in tear-proof, wipe clean vinyl they will stand the test of time. A wonderful set, filled with active learning and fun. Ages 12mths+.
